In a crumbling city rife with corruption, Rick Miner, a seasoned but disillusioned off-the-books insurance investigator, is assigned to look into the suspicious death of an ex-con whose life insurance policy is worth millions. As he digs deeper into the victim’s past and retraces his steps, Rick becomes drawn into a tangled web of deception, where nothing seems to add up. The lines between reality and paranoia blur as Rick begins to question the true nature of the case—and whether his own sanity is unraveling.
