National Anthem

A 21-year-old construction worker from rural New Mexico, feeling disconnected from his traditional upbringing, embarks on a journey to find himself within a tight-knit community of queer ranchers and rodeo performers. As he immerses himself in their world, he learns what it truly means to live authentically and pursue an unconventional version of the American dream. Along the way, he faces the challenges of reconciling his past with his newfound identity, discovering love, friendship, and the courage to embrace a future that’s all his own. Through rodeos, ranch work, and the strength of his community, he comes to realize that dreams are defined not by others, but by the freedom to live as one's true self.
